Crypto "bribes" are a term coined by "Curve" finance DeFi users.

protocols are trying to grab liquidity for their projects, they either have to buy up $CRV to vote, or “bribe” their users to vote for them.

Curve - the fourth larget cryptocurrency protocol by TVL

As Curve continues to emit governance tokens for liquidity incentives, $veCRV holders are able to direct these emissions to the LP of their choice.
